Here’s what current students are saying…

Intrepid Intuition: A Beginners Guide to Tarot is the first in-person tarot class I have taken. Garrett is a gifted reader and teacher and I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from him. It’s great to have a group of enthusiastic classmates to learn tarot with, as well. I’m pleased with how much we have picked up in such a short period of time and don’t want it to end because I’m having so much fun! The extras (intuitive exercises, group practice and weekly homework assignments) have really contributed to my progress. It is obvious that much thought has been put into each two-hour class. I am loving this adventure and whole-heartedly recommend Garrett for both readings and classes.
— Valynne R.
I’ve had Tarot cards for years, but always struggled to read them and memorize the interpretations in the book. Garrett has a fun and unique way of helping you to read the cards in a fun group setting that spurs lots of great conversation. I joined this class because I thought it would be fun to do after work. It has been fun, but also enlightening, and I’ve met some inspiring thinkers who helped me unlock my creative brain.
— Tracy C.
This class has come into my life at exactly the right time. If you feel called to take it, I highly recommend it. Come with an open mind and leave being psyched to read tea leaves. Garrett is a wonderful teacher and I love how the exercises we do in class run into my day to day life. It’s a really lovely way to tap into your intuition.
— Domenica R.
I have learned so much about myself because of Garrett’s tarot class. His guidance and intuition exercises are so interesting and helpful. I love talking about different perspectives on the cards and their meanings in a group setting. It is truly what I look forward to each week!
— Jenna S.
The Tarot class is a unique opportunity to talk about the cards, to see other decks with different visualizations, and to ask questions (while benefitting from all the other questions you hadn’t even thought to ask). The class gives you the ability to actively think about how to use the cards in your life.
— Jennifer W.
I feel so lucky to have been able to attend the Inaugural Intrepid Intuition tarot class. Every week, I find myself unlocking a new perspective; whether it be through the cards or how intuition can present itself in daily tasks. Through our sessions, I have been able to connect and be inspired by our group and look forward to where this “Fool’s journey” will continue to take me…
— Jessica R.

F.A.Q.

What supplies do I need for class?
You will need to bring a Tarot deck (please no Oracle, Angel or Lenormand decks) to class each week. Many people recommend learning to read with a Smith-Waite deck, but I encourage you to find one that resonates with you. Every deck speaks a different language and it’s important to find one that you feel speaks to you.

It’s also recommended that you bring a blank notebook and a pen/pencil to keep a Tarot journal (Don’t worry! We’ll talk about this more in-depth the first day of class). Each student will receive a PDF workbook that covers class material. You can either print it out or use it on a tablet/laptop. The choice is yours!

Do I need to be an intuitive, medium or psychic to take this class?
Absolutely not! Tarot’s wisdom is accessible to everyone when you approach it with an open mind and open heart. Each week we’ll explore different activities designed to help you connect with and strengthen your intuition, but you don’t need to already be skilled in this area to take this class.

Will I have the opportunity to practice reading for other people?
You sure will! There will be plenty of opportunities to practice reading for others during class. Also, each week there will be an optional 30 minute reading session from 2-2:30 PM where you can choose to stay and practice reading for someone else.

What if I miss a class?
Don’t worry! Each class will be recorded if you are absent. Keep in mind that this course is activity and discussion based, which is much more helpful if you’re in class each week. I recommend making every effort to be present unless it is an emergency.

Will I need to memorize a lot of stuff?
No, not at all. This class will not provide you with a bunch of card meanings to memorize and regurgitate. You’ll learn how to read Tarot through different activities, class discussions, symbolism, meditation and reflection. No memorization required!

Will I be a certified Tarot reader after taking this course?
You will be a Tarot reader, but you will not be certified because there is no formal Tarot reader certification. You do not need certification to read for yourself or others.

How much is it?
Intrepid Intuition: A Beginner’s Guide to Tarot is a $200 investment.
