I’m trying something a bit different for the monthly energy forecast, so please let me know how you like it. This month I pulled three cards, one for each of the following questions:
What energy are we being invited into?
What energy are we releasing?
Higher Guidance from our Spirit Team
The first card that came forward for us this month is a waning gibbous moon card from the Pagan Otherworld’s Tarot. A waning gibbous comes after we bask in the light of the full moon, which is typically associated with a time of harvest. As we move into this next phase, it feels like we’re being called to turn inward, to reflect on and release those things that either aren’t in alignment with whatever it is we’re trying to create.
This card reminds me of an Instagram post I saw recently from Yung Pueblo that asked three questions – “Is this the direction I want to be moving in? Are my recent choices helping my happiness? What can I change to better support my goals?” This month is a time for reflection and realignment.
The Page of Cups has come forward to ask us to release the compulsion to look outside of ourselves for fulfillment, validation and love. All that we need already resides within us, but we disempower ourselves when we look to receive those things from outside sources. Your dreams are your’s for a reason. You don’t need someone else to validate them. Shoot for the stars!
Finally, our Spirit Team encourages us to engage in practices that are steeped in self-love this month. I feel like this goes deeper than just treating yourself to a bubble bath or a nice walk. What practices can you cultivate that allow you to show love to your WHOLE self, perceived warts and all?
There are parts of us – personality aspects, physical aspects, thoughts, beliefs, etc. that we wish were different. We wish we weren’t as introverted, that our laugh wasn’t as loud, that we were better about running our business, or that our hair didn’t do that wonky thing. What can you do to send love to those parts of your self this month?
When we’re at peace in our own bodies and minds, we stop looking for others to validate us because we already feel a sense of wholeness within. It’s in that space that we’re able to easily feel when something is no longer in alignment for us, and then we can release it. We see what’s holding us back from living our best life, and we feel empowered to take action to correct it.
As you move through this month set aside time to reflect on how your choices are helping or hindering your happiness. What doesn’t feel like its in alignment anymore? You don’t need permission to release it if it isn’t serving you. Look within and honor how you feel.
Mantras for the month:
“I honor how I feel.”
“I choose Love.”
What no longer feels in alignment for me? Why?
What new choices can I make that will contribute to my happiness?
Where am I withholding Love from myself? How can I give more Love to those areas?
Meditate for 5-10 minutes with Rose Quartz placed over your heart chakra. If you don’t have any Rose Quartz, simply imagine a soft pink light radiating from your heart space while you meditate with your hands placed over your heart.
